Jakarta - BMW has a record withdrawal of the largest in its history. A total of 350,000 units over the BMW that pulled in the world. However, PT BMW Indonesia said, still checking whether the BMW model in Indonesia affected by the recall or not.
This was said by Corporate Communication Director of PT BMW Indonesia, Helena Abidin to detikOto, Monday ( 10/04/2010 ).
Helena said, if the service campaign related to with the recall of BMW cars are just happening in North America, and there has been no confirmation if the models sold in Indonesia will take part affected by the recall.
" We 're checking into the center ( BMW AG, Germany ), if there are units in Indonesia are included in the service campaign, " he said.
However, Helena did not explain further what would be done by BMW Indonesia, if there is information from the BMW center when the unit in Indonesia was also affected by the recall.
In America a German luxury car manufacturer, BMW interesting ( recall ) hundreds of thousands of car BMW 5.6 and 7 series that use V8 and V12 engines made in 2002-2010. But poorer recall that not only apply in North America alone, but for BMW 5.6 and 7 series worldwide.
In total, there are approximately 345,000 units of BMW cars to be withdrawn, almost 200 thousand of them exist in the United States. On some cars, brake fluid leaking and spilled into the hydraulic braking power leakage is reduced, although the brake system still worked.

- 2007-2008 BMW Alpina B7
- 2004-2010 BMW 645i and BMW 650i
- 2004-2010 BMW 545i and BMW 550i
In addition there are thousands of Rolls - Royce ( car brand owned by BMW ) Phantom drawn because the same problem.
